Hello all, thanks for accepting.

I will post in English as my Spanish is not good yet. But hopefully soon...

Me and my wife are planning to move to Spain in 2-3 years. Preferably somewhere between Huelva and Almeria not far from the coast, so probably Andalusia.

I am a sports shooter in Belgium. Both target shooting on 10 to 50 meters but also dynamic shooting like bowling pins, action shoot, .22 plinking, 2gun and 3 3gun, parcours (IPSC), tactical and so on. I mainly use a 9mm pistol (CZ Shadow 1 and a Glock 45 MOS), a PCC (Ruger PCC) and AR (Schmeisser AR-15). I also own a Mossberg 500 Combo shotgun (24" rifled barrel and 28" smooth barrel).

So, I am looking for some clubs where I can keep doing this hobby and passion of mine. Obviously it will not be the same way I have it now but I definitely not want to give up on this.

Could you guys maybe give some tips on a few clubs in the Andalusia region who also organise evenings like mentioned above? In general I see a lot of trap/skeet clubs which I'm also definitely interested in. Also, are there any 'run and gun' events going on in Spain?

First of all, once in Spain, you must know that any shooting range, will request inevitable " tarjeta federativa " provided by your future club. Second, make sure that you are well acquainted of procedures prior importing your arsenal that includes "permiso de armas" issued by ministerio del interior > forms delivered by our famous Guardia Civil Any solid local "armurier" will be delighted to guide you and charge for all this

Yes, yesterday I already saw that 223rem/5.56 NATO is not allowed in Spain? I bought a new Schmeisser AR-15 like literally 3 weeks ago. That 222 and 300blk is allowed but 223rem, 308win and 7.62 isn't is really ridiculous. Doesn't make any sense.

I know that beside Czech Republic, Switzerland, Finland and some other Eastern and Baltic countries Belgium is quite chill. Beside concealed carry we can get literally anything with just some patience and paperwork.

So yeah, also suddenly not so sure to move to Spain because of this hassle. I'm not going to give up on my hobby.
