*** TRIALOGUE IS INCOMING ***
Our new friends at gunsweek.com published today a very interesting and detailed article about the trialogue that will be starting tomorrow in Brussels concerning the EU gun ban.
More specifically, the article raises concerns about the designated head of the EP/IMCO delegation: Catherine Stihler, a Scottish Labour MEP (S&D) who's known to be a fierce supporter of very tight gun control rules.
According to gunsweek.com's sources, her appointment follows a customary practice within the EP: designate the supporter of a minority position.
Also, according to the rules of the trialogue, her role should be minimal if compared to the role of the president of an EP committee when discussing a dossier.
Although it's unlikely that Catherine Stihler would be put in the position to steer the works of the trialogue towards a return of more stringent gun ban provisions, as a hard-liner socialist and gun grabber she may be tempted to overstep the limits of her role and sponsor the return of the punitive restrictions that were originally proposed by the Commission.
We thus ask all our followers to read the gunsweek.com article and get ready for mobilization.
