Este revolver, fabricado en Belgica bajo licencia y patentes varias de Colt por L.Ghaye, es unico con su cilindro de 10 disparos en calibre .28 y esta punzonado en Lieja (E L G).

Por lo que me ha parecido entender el nombre de brevete, quiere decir algo asi como patente, y era el nombre que se le daba a los revolveres fabricados en europa bajo licencia.

Unique 10 Shot, .28 cal Brevete L. Ghaye Marked Percussion Revolver. Navy sized frame, and interesting construction, the cylinder rotates and fires every other chamber. I am assuming it cycles through all 10 cylinders. Description: Produced mainly in Belgium, the term \"Brevete\" can be applied to any revolver made in Europe under license by Colt using one or more of their patents. The top barrel flat features a brass blade front sight and a custom \"V\" notch rear sight that partially removed the \"COLT / BREVETE\" marking and a \"crown / U\" is marked in the area above the wedge on the left side. The 10-shot cylinder is roll engraved with a scene similar to the Colt Dragoon scene and is marked with the Liege \"ELG\" in an oval proof and a \"crown / U\" proof. The face of the cylinder is marked with the maker\'s name, L. Ghaye. The left side of the frame is marked with the number \"62\". Silver plated brass round trigger guard and backstrap, percussion cut-out without the capping groove, three frame screws entering from the left and fitted with a smooth one-piece grip. Matching serial number on the frame, barrel and trigger guard. Condition: Very Good with the metal surfaces exhibiting a gray mottled patina. The cylinder etching is strong, but some obliterated by staining. The brass has been polished at one time and is beginning to age again. The undersized grips are repaired with some light varnish spotting, some minor nicks and a large gouge on the butt and well done repair to toe of right grip. Mechanically good

Es digno de mencion, ya que no lo dice nadie, los dos ostiones que tiene la madera de la culata, que se los devolvia yo al que se los hizo con el propio arma en los . . .¡Ay que me pierdo!

super, seguro que esas muescas de la culata del revólver, se las hicieron en sus tiempos, clavando el cartel de, "SE BUSCA VIVO O MUERTO", en la pared de la oficina del Sheriff.
