Hola, estos underhammer antiguos me llaman la atencion, este parece que tiene historia.
Historical Flint M-1867, Extra Heavy Barrel Target Rifle. Description: The top of the barrel is marked \"E. FLINT\" followed by \"1867 (an image of a hammer) 8\". The right flat at the breech is stamped \"REMINGTON\", so the barrel was made by Remington and the gun assembled by FLINT. It features a turned muzzle for a bullet starter, with a globe and pin front sight and an adjustable bar peep sight, there is no provision for a ramrod. The stock has an iron scroll target type trigger guard, toe plate, side plates, cap box and crescent buttplate with a nickel silver inlay of a squirrel on the left buttstock. The consignor believes that this rifle was produced by D.H. Hilliard and has found reference to a Captain E.A. Flint as serving with a Massachusetts cavalry unit who had an outstanding record in U.S. Civil War. Condition: Very good. The barrel and mounts are \"in the white\", with the barrel turning slightly brown and the corners on the flats are still sharp. The rest of the iron mounts show a little more smooth patina. The otherwise fine stock has possibly been lightly cleaned, with very few handling marks. Mechanically fine. The gun is big, and weights 22 pounds by my bathroom scale. It is one heavy dude. It has real near tang rear sight, it flips up and has a pinhole to sight through. It is not fit for a false muzzle. It is .45 caliber with an excellent bright bore.
